Homeownership for a New Era: Baseline Report on the Cornerstone Homeownership Innovation ProgramResearch Report

This report details the baseline findings of an evaluation of nine shared equity homeownership programs across the U.S.  It provides information on shared equity (or long-term affordable) homeownership program models, the challenges and strategies used to recruit homebuyers, descriptive information on program applicants, and the implications of shared equity homeownership programs on policy and practice.

This report was developed as a part of our Cornerstone Homeownership Innovation Program (CHIP), which has been funded by the Social Innovation Fund and the Ford Foundation, with the goal of building scale and capacity in long-term affordable homeownership programs across the country, while simultaneously building the body of evidence to support these programs.
